A lot of people like the fashion industry for its creativity, its style and its ability to reflect our preference in clothes. Fashion is able to have an impact on modern society. Even huge corporations or popular actors obtain a benefit from the involvement in a fashion field. Some prefer to launch their own clothing line like actor Matthew McConaughey. He released the clothing collection called “Just keep living.” McDonald’s Corporation began to produce hamburger-themed clothing in Sweden. These examples show that the fashion world continuously develops. Designers should keep their finger on the pulse and find new creative ideas to attract customers. Understanding this fact, Dolce & Gabbana has created some unusual womenswear.
In January, Dolce & Gabbana presented the first collection clothing designed for Muslims. The collection consists of hijabs and abayas covering the whole body except the face, feet and palms. The garments include all elements of the Dolce & Gabbana brand such as large rings and bracelets, generously decorated glasses and patterned bags in a lookbook shoot. One of the material choices is black lace and other fabrics feature bright prints. This collection is an ideal variant for the woman evaluating luxury and comfort. It is targeted to customers in the Middle East. It is possible to buy clothes from the line this month. They will be for sale in boutiques in the Middle East, London and Paris.
In my mind, this clothing line has a social influence on people. Everybody from around the world heard about terrible attacks in Paris on November 13, 2015. After this act of terrorism, the peaceful Muslims were persecuted around the world. Dolce & Gabbana’s collection is a way showing that the famous designers do not judge people based on their nationalities or religion. Through fashion, they try to express their positive attitude to the Muslims. There is no wonder that their collection looks elegant and beautiful.
