Check out CHILD of WILD

by Miranda Meehan

I’ve always had a great love for cultural jewelry. I’ve recently discovered this amazing website called CHILD of WILD. I was browsing on Instagram a few days ago and came across the brand on Kaitlynn Carter (Brody Jenner’s fiance) Instagram. Those who follow her know she has a great sense of style! So I began to check out CHILD of WILD’S page and instantly fell in love with their jewelry and trinkets. Their brand really embodies my own personal style and eccentricity. Their brand lives by the word sustainability- the ability to be sustained, supported, upheld, or confirmed. I think that’s a great word to not only be inspired by but to live by.

The brand deeply believes “that objects with past lives or cultural relevance has a depth that can be felt.” CHILD of WILD lives by a philosophy that fewer quality possessions have more power to our souls and make a home and life fulfilled. CHILD of WILD range in prices, some reasonable and some rather expensive, due to the rich quality. All of the pieces are heavily researched and inspired from historical art movements, cultural rituals, and ideals. That sort of inspiration is very hard to find these days, and make the brand very unique and valuable. CHILD of WILD believes that the artists who produce these pieces should be given credit, for their great relevance in cultures and tribes around the world. They want to bring the world into full circle and “explore cultures and rituals that share the common thread of humanity”. CHILD of WILD in the year 2014 donated a percentage of their art sales to “The Fund for Global Human Rights.” They also donate annually to the  “Native American Education Foundation,” which I find so cool. CHILD of WILD not only represents my own personal style, but offers a brand of spiritual and cultural depth. Everyone should check them out at!
