Wintertime in Philadelphia

As the winter months continue on, there are a variety of events happening in Philadelphia. These events are perfect to enjoy with friends, family and loved ones while representing the city of Brotherly Love.

1. Center City Restaurant Week: January 22-27 and January 29-February 3

With some of Philly’s top restaurants serving dinner, lunch or both this is the perfect way to sample their menus. With over 120 participants get an amazing meal that costs between $20-35.

2. Philadelphia Auto Show: January 29-February 5

Located at the Philadelphia Convention Center the auto show gives viewers the opportunity to explore the industry’s latest creations up close and personal. Every manufacturer is represented with a wide variety of cars both old and new.

3. Chinese New Year: January 28

Help ring in the Chinese New Year with colorful dragons, lion dancers, parades and entertainment with the heart of the festivities taking place in the Chinatown neighborhood.

4. Black History Month: month of February

There will be a variety of events taking place over the month of February to celebrate Black History Month in Philadelphia. These special events will be held at a variety of Philadelphia museums and venues.

5. Philadelphia Flower Show: March 11-19

Taking place at the Philadelphia Convention Center viewers can experience the grandeur of these beautiful and colorful displays. This years theme is “Holland: Flowering the World”, which give viewer a look into Dutch gardening innovations. This event is a perfect transition from winter into spring.

In addition to the numerous events, make sure to check out the Rothman Ice Rink at Dilworth Park and the Blue Cross RiverRink Winterfest. These locations feature an ice rink, food and drinks creating the perfect winter experience.
