Brights for Spring

By: Victoria Royce

One of spring’s biggest trends in fashion is brights, which is the theme of the senior’s eveningwear, being featured in the Drexel Fashion Show. Vogue and Refinery 29 have cited brights as a trend to get you noticed this spring/summer season so it is only fitting that it’s the theme of the eveningwear. Many of the Pantone colors for spring align with this trend in particular, Primrose Yellow, Flame, Pink Yarrow, Greenery and Lapis Blue. Pink being the most popular of these colors is being considered a power color of the season. By principle bold colors are more fun when you go all out and make a statement and that’s just what our designers did with their eveningwear.
